Guide :Ovens : ECS136 Epicure Stainless Steel Electric Single Oven

Possessed Oven This Dacor oven is not my main oven and has only been used 5 or 6 times since it was installed 2½ years. Almost from the beginning I noticed that the oven light would come on for no apparent reason. I would turn it off, and it would be fine for a few days/weeks until it happened again. Eventually, the light would blink off and on, and I would punch buttons until it stopped. Then the fan came on and would not turn off. I think there were a couple of other issues that I can't remember, but I eventually had to turn it off at the circuit breaker. I had two opinions from qualified repairmen (one of whom actually called Dacor for a solution), and both men said I should replace the ERC. I finally did that (to the tune of well over $400), and it worked fine........ for two days. Then the light started blinking again. It is currently turned off at the circuit breaker. I have read on other websites that others have had this same problem and, as in my case, Dacor wasn't helpful at all. I have not, however, read a solutions to my problem. I don't want to keep pouring money into this already expensive oven. Can anyone help?
